Tennis Court Resurfacing

All tennis courts will suffer wear and tear over the years. A good maintenance regime will prolong a courts life, but eventually resurfacing maybe be required.

For existing Tennis Courts that have deteriorated, either through use or insufficient cleaning and maintenance, we offer Promac porous macadam. This court resurfacing process relays, repairs and renews an existing tennis court so it is as good as new. Once the Macseal process has been completed and cured (this takes approximately 2-3 weeks), the surface will be ready for colouring if required.

We will always inspect the court first, making sure that resurfacing is necessary and assessing site access. Contact us today to arrange a visit.

Tennis Court Maintenance

All court surfaces require regular care to keep them in optimum condition. Good court maintenance will help prevent problems with flooding, moss and algae contamination, surface damage and general wear and tear, all of which can lead to an unsafe surface and can be costly to deal with later. Regular care will prolong the life expectancy of the surface and help ensure the safety of the playing conditions. A well maintained court will guarantee a good grip underfoot as well as a more consistent ball bounce.

Under normal conditions, we recommend that you have your court professionally cleaned every annually. A high density of surrounding trees or buildings in close proximity to your court often increases the amount of moss and weeds that can affect the court. This may mean you need the court to be cleaned more frequently.

Court Recolouring

Feel like a change or just want to upgrade the look of your court?

Re-colouring is a quick and easy solution to tired looking sports courts and can boost a facility’s identity, give it a sense of ‘branding’ or reinforce team spirit.

The process of re-colouring your court involves Pro Sports Surfaces using a professional pressure cleaner to clean the court to remove any debris or dirt from the surface. In some instances, it is sometimes necessary to apply an eco-friendly moss and/or weed killer treatment. Once the surface of the court has been professionally cleaned, two coats of acrylic paint will be applied and any lines will be remarked in white.

Please note that re-colouring is only possible if the colour of the courts surface has faded or any underlying macadam surface is exposed. During your consultation, our representative will also discuss site access to the court.

Quality Tennis Courts

An intensive sport, serious tennis involves demanding play, regular coaching and hours of practice. Ever more discerning as they make progress and advance within the sport, players certainly appreciate maximum serviceability from quality surfaces in tennis courts.

Significantly, as reported by the Lawn Tennis Association, the popularity of this racket sport is increasing. Thus, demand for professional-level tennis facilities looks set to continue to rise all year round.

With assistance from the expert team here at Pro Sport Surfaces, you can rely on the highest standards. Whether you opt for durable and functional or the most luxurious types of tennis court surfacing, amateurs and professionals alike will benefit from a consistent and reliable level of performance within your sports facility, match after match.

Notably, the description all-weather court tends to refer to a porous surface that allows water to drain away. However, because snow and ice still prevent play, we prefer the more accurate term all-year-round.

We invite you to tell us your requirements and let us quote for a top-quality indoor or outdoor tennis court solution. Previous satisfied Pro Sport Surfaces customers include private individuals, recreation centres, private facilities, tennis clubs and schools.

Tennis Court Lighting

Tennis Court Lighting

For optimum play conditions including on overcast afternoons and into the autumn evenings, we suggest you consider court floodlighting from our range. Energy-efficient and modern in design, the latest tennis lighting forms an ideal complement to your new tennis court surface.

Alternatively, we will be delighted to quote for an upgrade to your existing system. Beneficially, illumination from the latest LED tennis court floodlights is similar to daylight in tone. Modern fittings require very little maintenance and deliver excellent energy efficiency, thereby reducing ongoing costs.

Floodlight options include static lighting, manufactured to comply in full with planning regulations. Naturally, our knowledgeable team will be delighted to arrange bespoke designs to adapt to your requirements and location, in liaison with your planning consultant or architect if necessary.

With the right static floodlights, players can make the most of court availability all year round. Alternatively, retractable floodlights are extendable for use when required. We secure the fittings to intermediate size fence or perimeter posts, locating them to provide maximum illumination without being obtrusive.
